Healing can come from mental mastery. . .mastering self talk. Rather than allow ourselves to brood over the scary health prognosis, endlessly search the internet for more bad news, telling our story of woe to anyone that will listen, we can decide to take a new brighter outlook.
Surprisingly, once the decision is taken, things start looking up.
Are we fooling ourselves? No!
We are actually intentionally creating our world and how we live in it. It’s important to support ourselves in several ways once we undertake to move into this new mode of being.

- Journal
- Record audio stories of new self talk – how things are now in your new world
- Meditate
- Contemplate
- Become selective what you take in. . .people, places, events, TV, Radio, Movies, Books
- Walk in nature
- Volunteer for an organization you love
- Eat fresh good tasting food
- Enjoy your loved ones – accept them just the way they are
- Listen to your intuition
- Celebrate your wins and insights
- Meet others of like mind – find a therapeutic counseling group where you can let your hair down, tell your truth and expose your goals
- Practice daily gratitude for what you have now
- Develop your capacity to “feel good” all the time. . .this skill cannot be underestimated. Feeling good when things look bad is where the magic is.
Form your assumptions with the highest, noblest and happiest concepts. Whatsoever things are pure, just, lovely, of good report, think on these things only.
This means to make your assumptions the highest, noblest, happiest concepts. There is no better time to start than now. The present moment is always the most opportune in which to eliminate all unlovely assumptions and to concentrate only on the good.
It is amazing to observe what happens when you radiate light at the highest levels. Radiating light is imaginal. Movement up and down the energy ladder is imaginal. Rating progress is imaginal. Naming concepts and observing their images is imaginal. Being the person with your fulfilled desire is first imagined and sustained in the brightest light is made visible in the objective world.
I started working with light many years ago. It is easy to speak to light and tell it where and how to move. Every thing is light and every thing is in the light. Even science recognizes this. From Power vs Force author, David Hawkins map of consciousness, I found each concept has its own light. Adapting and using the energy ladder, I saw and experienced each emotion in its own light and taught others and myself to experience the joy of walking up the energy ladder.
Hawkins claimed most people move up about five points from the position in which they were born. He said individuals who devoted themselves to higher principles made great strides. These statements explain why groups and families remain in the same states and how one or two individuals break out from conditions of their childhood.
Groups / families so caught up in being humiliated build lifestyles around this energy while groups and families caught up in humiliating others build their lifestyles around this energy. The humiliated radiate light at about 20 watts while the humiliating group radiate light at about 150 watts and adapt attitudes of superiority. The former adapt attitudes of inferiority. Because they do not know they are on the energy ladder, they do not know they could merely change their perceptions of self to feel differently.
As long as they look at the other to define themselves, they remain as Hawkins said, pretty much where they started out. Those of us who care could intervene with brighter lights radiating wisdom, love, joy and fulfillment to change the atmosphere around them, freeing them to move into higher states.
Following is one woman’s experience after demonstrating this concept to herself at a family members home:
“I started working with being ‘delighted’ about just everything; pictures, trees, flowers in a quilt, shoes, etc. I visited my daughter this weekend and didn’t want to get out of the delightful mood. When things happened that in the past I would think to myself was a negative judgment, I decided not to let myself do that. Not to judge. It was interesting how I forgot about the situation. I realized that judging makes a situation linger and gather energy. I realized this is what happens as the event unfolded in front of me. Another realization – It is better to change those judgments into positive assumptions and let those thoughts flow out into the future because they do flow forward.”
